I am still enjoying having some just for me play time with some new stamps and have created this card to enter two challenges:
The Shabby Tea Room challenge, which is blue, white and a neutral (black, brown, tan or kraft); and
Wild Orchid Craft's challenge, which is white plus 2 other colours and roses (my colours, therefore for both challenges are white, blue and black). As soon as I saw this new Gorjuss Girl image I knew I wanted to created a card that would make her umbrella one of those clear plastic ones! I have used a Go Create die for the card shape.

I stamped the image onto acetate and embossed it with clear embossing powder, then I stamped and coloured the image and cut her out to glue behind the acetate.

I have created a puddle around her feet along with some splashes with glossy accents.

I also created some raindrops with glossy accents around her. I created the crystal swirl myself with some gems from The Hobby House.
The gorgeous aida flower is by Prima and the rest of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaves were cut with a Whiff of Joy die.
The gorgeous paper behind the image is from MME's La Paperie paper stack and I've painted the edges with picket fence crackle paint which I have then inked with walnut stain distress ink.
On the back of the card I used some more MME papers to create a pocket and tag to write a message on. Again all the edges were painted with picket fence crackle paint.
A shot to show the embossed image on the acetate a little better - it looks so effective in real life!
I shall be using this stamp again very soon as I while I was creating this one I had another idea for her! Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Enjoy your weekend! x

Wow, Jane this is stunning and very clever! The acetate with the image behind works so well - I'll have to have a play with my glue to see what will work best, as I'd love to try this idea for myself. You are so talented, Jane! Tracey x
