This is my final commissioned card, an anniversary card for a 33rd anniversary which apparently has Amethysts associated with it, hence the lilac! I decided I'd take the opportunity to enter the Next Level's challenge to make a card with a knotted ribbon border because I was asked to put Forever Friends on it and just couldn't think of anything to do as although I think they're cute, and they're what started me on this card making journey, I prefer my stamps!! I did still use some stamps though, as you can see, I had some card that has a shimmer on it and have silver embossed lots of swirls and hearts from the Whiff of Joy spring swirls set and also swirl edge stamp from Stempleglede grunge collection. To make the bears a little less plain looking I layered them up and cut one's hand to hold a champagne bottle. I grunged the edges up with Tattered Rose distress ink because I didn't have a purple one (must get some more of these they're fab!) but in the end I think it worked OK as it kind of tones in with the colour of the bears (I hope anyway).
I cut the top of the embossed heart so I could slip the lilac card behind it rather than covering it up.
I added a heart charm underneath the top ribbon knot.

I decorated the inside with embossing and another bear and champagne bottle. I added the ribbon to cover a couple of smudges on the card that I noticed when I'd finished but think it works quite well! I embossed the heart swirl stamp from Whiff of Joy onto pearl card and purple card and cut out.
