Whiff of Joy DT - release blog hop!

Woohoo!!! Welcome to the September Whiff of Joy blog hop!!  You should have arrived here from the lovely Colleen's blog, if not, and you want to follow the hop from the beginning then pop on over to Katharina's blog for the start! 

 Our newest release is Spooktacular and just in time for Halloween! You love our new Simply Maya line and now we have some new and amazing images to inspire you to create all types of cute and spooky treats! In addition, we are releasing the Summer Kit Jane Austen inspired collection as digital images! They are perfect for all your vintage and Victorian inspired makes! 

 This month, 6 lucky commentators will each win one of the digital stamps from our Vintage Jane Austen release. There are 6 secret stops on the hop, so be sure to leave a comment on each one of the DT’s blogs. You just don’t know which ones are the lucky ones! At the end of the hop, go to the Whiff of Joy World of Ideas Blog, let us know that you have left a comment at each stop of the hop by leaving us a comment and you will be entered for a chance to win! I have used 3? Ghosts on my pumpkin shaped card, coloured with copics.  I think this image is so funny with the little ghost looking around worried at the real ghost behind him - so cute!

I used a Tim Holtz die for the lettering and have mounted the letters onto kraft cardstock cut with the City Girl Shape die from Whiff of Joy.

The Heart Banner die was absolutely perfect to use as the twirly pumpkin leaves and I cut the stalk shape myself from some kraft cardstock.

Whiff of Joy DT - August Blog Hop!

 Woohoo!!  Welcome to the Whiff of Joy blog hop to celebrate our August release!!  You should have arrived here from the lovely Colleen's blog.  If not, and you would like to join the hop from the beginning, pop back to the Whiff of Joy World of Ideas blog for the start.  I have used "Baking Fun" for my card featuring our newest little cutie, Maya!!  The papers are a mix of scraps from my stash.

 I have coloured Maya with copics and inked around the image with bundled sage distress ink before sewing the edges.

 The gorgeous satin ribbon is from Whiff of Joy and the flowers are from my stash.

Whiff of Joy Blog Hop!

Welcome to the May Whiff of Joy Blog Hop! If you didn't come here from Angie's blog, then head on over to the start of the hop at Katharina's blog. I don't want you to miss a single stop on this hop!  Our newest release is named Heartfelt Condolences and is filled with sweet and soft images illustrated by Elizabeth Bell. These images are perfect for using on Sympathy cards but also for other occasions when someone needs to know that they are cared for.

I have used the sweet image "sharing in your sorrow", coloured with copics.  I have stamped around the image with a stamp from Stempelglede's Just a Note set using antique linen distress ink.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I have created a tiny rosette flower with an offcut of the backing paper which is from Basic Grey.  The pins are from The Hobby House and the button is from my stash.

The gorgeous grosgrain ribbon is from Whiff of Joy too and the lace is from my stash.

Whiff of Joy Anniversary Blog Hop

I have made a whole birthday gift set with this cheeky little monkey stamp, isn't he cute! There is a card, ruk sak gift bag, bookmark, clipboard and badge.

Here is the card, I wanted to create a jungle theme. The leaves have been punched with a woodware punch. All the papers are K&Co and have been distressed with peeled paint distress ink.

I added a swinging vine made from some twine and the dragonflys are charms that I've snipped the rings off.

I have carried my sketch through to the inside and written the sentiment with my calligraphy pen.

The ruk sak has been made to the tutorial I found here but I have made straps from paper and have added some stitching to the straps and pockets to make it look more realistic. I have stamped the monkey stamp all over the green card with peeled paint distress ink.
