Magnolia-licious DT - "W"ednesday Post

Good morning!  It is time for me to share another 'W'ednesday project over on the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog.  I think this is my favourite stamp from the other collections that Diana has in the store.  I haven't used it for a while so thought I'd give it an airing.

I have painted the image with Distress Inks and added some tiny details with a white gel pen.

 This sentiment from Magnolia is perfect for this image don't you think?  This is actually the mini version of the sentiment.

 The ribbon, cheesecloth and the flowers are all from The Ribbon Girl.

Ribbon Girls DT - Make it Sparkly!

 Eeek!!!  I'm so late with my card for The Ribbon Girls!  Things are a little hectic at the moment.  I've forgotten to do so many things this weekend!  What makes it worse is that the card was ready and photographed on Monday and I just clean forgot to upload it!   Hopefully the girls can forgive me!  It is my parents' wedding anniversary soon so I thought I'd get ahead and make their card.  I've used the incredibly sweet Bella in Love #279 by Wild Rose Studio - it is just perfect for anniversary cards I think!

 I have coloured Bella and her sweetheart with copics and added some dots to their cheeks with a white gel pen.

The flowers, tulle and bell you see in this photo are all from The Ribbon Girl.

 The lace, flowers and diamante trim are from the Ribbon Girl of course, except the tiny peach flowers which I made with an EK Success punch.

Magnolia-licious DT - "W"ednesday!

 Good morning!  It's my turn to share a creation for our "W"ednesday post over at Magnolia-licious Challenge where the DT take it in turns to use stamps from the Wild Rose Studio and Wee Stamps ranges that Diana has in store.  I decided on a clean and simple, elegant style Christmas card using the gorgeous baubles stamp from Wild Rose Studio.  I don't know about you but I always end up finding out I need a lot more cards than I first thought at Christmas so some quick to make ideas are always good to fall back on in an emergency!  These are also quite masculine looking I think, with the black and gold colour scheme so are ideal for hubby to give out to colleagues too!

 I love how striking the gold embossing looks against the black background.

 The sentiment is also embossed and is from Whiff of Joy.

"W"ednesday at Magnolia-licious

 Good morning!  It is time for another "W"ednesday at Magnolia-licious where the team share projects using the gorgeous new additions to the Magnolia-licious store, Wee Stamps and Wild Rose Studio Stamps.  I've chosen a stamp from the latter, the gorgeous Bella in Love #279 - aren't these elephants adorable?  I've kept the card quite simple as it is for my husband for our anniversary - hope it doesn't look too girly lol!

I've coloured the image with copics and inked around the edge with Weathered Wood Distress Ink.

 I've simply added a couple of heart tags cut with a doohickey die and the butterflies were cut from the Magnolia paper.

 The memo pin is from The Ribbon Girl and the ticket is from Tim Holtz.
