Good morning!  Today I'd like to share another card I made for my parents' 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary a few weeks ago.  I have used some gorgeous papers from the Maja Design Celebration paper collection and one of my favourite Stempelglede stamps from the Grunge Flourish Hearts Collection.

I embossed the Grunge Heart with gold embossing powder twice: onto white cardstock and onto vellum.  I cut out the centre heart from the vellum and have placed it over the top of the first.

 The paper lily of the valley was cut from an old paper from my stash and I have used added a few pretty flowers too.  I made the 50 myself with small half gems.

I added a seam binding bow and a resin Eiffel Tower along with some gorgeous deep lace from Craft Heaven.

The Happy Anniversary sentiment was cut from the bottom of the Maja Design paper.

The 'tickets' peeping out from beneath the lace were also cut from the Maja Design paper.

 I also added some cheesecloth and a doily from my stash for extra texture at the bottom of the card.

Stempelglede DT - Diamond Wedding Anniversary Card

 Good morning!  Today I have a special card to share that I was commissioned to make.  I don't think many people have a 60th Diamond wedding anniversary, do you?  I used some appropriately named papers from The Ribbon Girl called Wedding Garden.

 The gorgeous heart stamp is my favourite from Stempelglede's Grunge Heart Collection, embossed in silver.  I stamped the centre of the stamp again and cut it out to raise on foam pads.  I added diamante numbers from The Ribbon Girl to the centre.

 The gorgeous fine lace and the cheesecloth are from The Ribbon Girl too and I added a stick on diamante strip from my stash.

 All of the beautiful flowers are also from The Ribbon Girl.  See the lace ones?  They are actually off cuts from some guipure lace.

 I have distressed the edges of the papers with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

 As it is a special card I made a matching box envelope using papers from the same pad.  I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

Stempelglede DT - Grunge Heart Anniversary Card

Good morning!  I have an anniversary card to share today that I made for my parents.  Of course, the Grunge Flourish Hearts stamps from Stempelglede were an obvious choice for it.

I stamped the Weathered heart and grunge flourishes stamp twice so that I could cut the central heart out.  This has then been raised on foam pads, painted lightly with Distress Inks and covered with Glossy Accents.

You can see the glossy accents more easily in the above photo.  I added an ornate spacer and brad to the centre of the heart.

Most of the flowers are from The Ribbon Girl, except the pale lilac and blue roses.

I also used the Postcard and French Script stamps from the Postcard from Paris stamp set on the base of the card.

Here and there I have torn the edges of the paper.  Here I have added some wisps of cheesecloth and a rose to highlight one of the tears.

The two different laces are from The Ribbon Girl.

Stempelglede DT - Ruby Wedding Card

 Good morning!  Today I'd like to share a card I have made for a Ruby Wedding Anniversary using Stempelglede stamps.  I've used the gorgeous Grunge Flourish Hearts collection for this card which is completely inspired by this stunning card by Gunhild.

 I embossed two different heart stamps onto red cardstock and cut out the central hearts.  The top heart is mounted onto acetate with the full heart image stamped onto it.  I love how Gunhild created this effect of the stamping over the flowers by using acetate!

 I have used flowers from my stash and the ribbon and red roses are from The Ribbon Girl.

 I have added a sprinkling of pearls here and there...

 ...and snippets of lace peeping out from torn edges.

 In this photo you can see how the acetate has flowers peeping out from behind it.

Stempelglede DT - Vintage Valentine Card

Good morning!  I hope you're enjoying your weekend!  I have a Valentine card to share today using two different Stempelglede collections: Grunge Flourish Hearts and Vintage Garden.  I wanted to combine hearts and roses as they're such classic Valentine symbols.

In the centre of my card I have stamped one of the hearts from Grunge Flourish Hearts with Archival ink in Coffee.  I have then stamped the heart again, coloured it with copics and added it to the centre of the original heart on foam pads.

In each corner around the heart I have stamped part of the flower stamps from Vintage Garden so that the roses were the main focus.  Again these are coloured with copics.  I've added some touches of gold to the stamens of the cream flowers with a gel pen.

I have used Martha Stewart Heart Lace punch along the edges of the card and the bottom of the image.  The lace is from The Ribbon Girl and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash.

I also added another collection of flowers and ribbon at the other side of the image.

I stamped the backing paper all over with the flower stamp from Vintage Garden to create a Toile du Jouy effect.  The heart tags were cut with a Magnolia Doohickey die.

Stempelglede Design Call 2014

 Good evening!  Firstly I'd like to wish you all a happy new year!  Welcome to my first post of 2014 - it is a very special post for me as I am entering the Stempelglede Design Call - I have hoped and wished for Stempelglede to have a design team call ever since I first discovered Gunhild's stamps many years ago!  As you can see I made a Christmas card for my entry even though I sat down to create a few days after Christmas!  I took out all of my Stempelglede stamp sets to decide which to use and wondered if the gorgeous "Petit Oiseau" stamp from the Vintage Garden Set would work coloured as a robin.

 The image is coloured with copics.  I coloured the flowers to look like Hellebores (Christmas Roses) to complete the transformation of the image into a Christmas themed one.  I have added stickles to the flower centres.

 I used another stamp from the Vintage Garden collection around the edges of the image mat and then inked around the edges with Weathered Wood Distress Ink.  To make the bird's eye look realistic I added some glossy accents to it.

 I used two of the flower stamps from Stempelglede's Grunge Collection and stamped them with Bundled Sage Distress Ink.  I then cut them out and cut down each petal so that I could create Hellebores.  I have added some spots to the centres with a copic marker which I have also used to colour the stamens.

 I used all of the snowflake stamps from Stempelglede's Angelic Greetings stamp set to decorate the card base.  I embossed some of them with Shabby White Frantage and the rest are stamped with Weathered Wood Distress Ink.  The edges of the card base have been inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  The edges of the card were cut using Tim Holtz' Distressed Doily die.

 Behind the image I have tucked some cheesecloth and some snowflake Christmas ornaments.

 There are also some delicate metal snowflakes sprinkled among the flower sprays.

The picture above shows the card when it is opened out flat.  It can also fold up for posting.

On the back of the card I have stamped a sentiment from the Angelic Greetings stamp set, embossed in gold.
