Stempelglede DT - Butterfly Mini Canvas

Good morning!  I have another Stempelglede creation to show you today.  The new stamps are so gorgeous that my head is overflowing with ideas!  Regular visitors to my blog will know how much I love butterflies.  If it has a butterfly on it then you can safely bet I'll buy it!  Gunhild's new sentiment from the Follow Your Heart collection about butterflies is just perfect for me so I wanted to use it to create something to display in my home.

 This gorgeous butterfly is from the Vintage Baby collection.  I have stamped it onto coffee filter paper and added just a small amount of colour to the body and wings.

 I made the fuschias from tissue paper and coffee filter paper according to Chelsea's fabulous tutorial.

 The gorgeous cherub who looks like he's pondering on this sentiment is by Prima.  Mine is from The Ribbon Girl.

 After laying a background of gesso and sprays I used several Stempelglede stamps.  The two pink butterflies in the top left corner are from the Post Card from Paris collection, stamped with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and coloured with Spun Sugar Distress Marker.

 On the bottom of the canvas I have layered scroll stamps from the Follow Your Heart Collection in Spun Sugar and Walnut Stain Distress Inks and the Crown from Vintage Baby.

 The small butterfly on the top of the canvas is from the Post Card from Paris collection.
