Magnolia-licious DT - Summer Fun

Good morning!  It is time for another Magnolia-licious challenge and this week our theme is 'Summer Fun'.  I have made a 'Summer Treasures' box for my little girl because when I thought about the theme it made me think of how my children love to collect shells and things on our days out during the summer holidays.  Now she has somewhere to keep them.  Of course, I have one to make for my little boy too, 'tis only fair :), so watch this space!  I recycled a gift box by covering it in Magnolia papers and some gorgeous lace from The Ribbon Girl.
I added some corrugated card to the top of the box along with a die cut strip cut with Christmas Lace Doohickey Die.
I have painted the super cute Tilda with Distress Ink Pads and added a touch of glossy accents to the cherry on her ice cream.
I have used the mini beach huts stamp, also painted with Distress Ink Pads...
...and again on the other side of Tilda.
The snippet of film strip is from Tim Holtz and the lettering is from Webster's Pages.
The shells are from Hobby Craft and the gorgeous blue stamens are from The Ribbon Girl.
The little 'my' sticker is a Tim Holtz Chit Chat sticker.
I have used the Magnolia Flag Doohickey to make the pennants around the edge of the lid.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Magnolia-licious.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations.
As always Diana is sponsoring the challenge with a fabulous surprise from the Magnolia-licious store for the lucky winner.  Thanks for looking! x
