Ribbon Girl DT - Magnolia Only Challenge - Make a Tag

Good morning!  It is time for a new Magnolia only challenge over at The Ribbon Girls and this week we would like you to make a tag.  I had great fun making this using lots of different messy techniques which I haven't done for a while.  First I stamped various Tim Holtz stamps onto the tag with Stazon ink before painting over with Gesso.  Once the Gesso was dry I stamped Sneaky Tilda and the sweet little birds over the top.
I have coloured Tilda and the birds with Prismacolor Pencils and added dots with a white gel pen.  I love how you can see the background stamping through Tilda.

All of the flowers are from the Ribbon Girl, and so is the key charm.
The key charm, button twine and seam binding are also from the Ribbon Girl, although the seam binding started out blue and I have died it to match the birds with Distress Inks.
I did the same with the white rose organza trim.  The pearl trim and and pink tutu trim are also from The Ribbon Girl.
I hope you like my tag and I've inspired you to join us at The Ribbon Girl this week.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations.  Thanks for looking! x
