Good morning! It is our Magnolia only challenge over at The Ribbon Girls this week and our theme is 'Sparkle'. When I saw this stunning 12 row faux diamante trim in th e store I thought it would be great to cut up into rows, however, when I visited my local garden centre last week they had Christmas decorations out and they had all sorts of decorations covered in this stuff! This gave me the idea to use the whole trim to cover a card base.
I wanted the card to be simple to really show off the bling so have simply added a die cut Father Christmas using the amazing die from the Magnolia Vol 2 Club Kit. This is my favourite die from the kit and is going to be used a lot this year: I'm planning on making all of my children's cards for school using it. I especially love how the beard has embossed swirls and cut swirls that can be lifted up for dimension. This photo shows the bling off best. Rather than send this as a card I'm thinking of actually framing it to use as a Christmas picture in my home!
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at The Ribbon Girl. Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend! x

Hi Jane - hope you're well! This is fabulous - lovely Santa die and fab bling! Did wonder how you could bear to use so much for one card but then read you might frame it to keep! Phew! Hugs, Juliexx
