A Simple Christmas Card

Good morning!  I have one last Christmas card to share with you this year that I made for my baby nephew.  Do you ever start a card with one idea in mind and then go completely the other way when you make it?  That was the case with this card.  I'd planned to just use Little Santa and die cut piles of presents around him, but once I'd painted him I decided to have a dabble with drawing a Christmas tree behind him and voila!
I've painted Little Santa and the tree with Distress Ink pads.
I've hand written 'Nephew' and used the snowflake border die from the Vol 2 Doohickey Kit around the edges of the image.
Even though it is a simple card I have added lots of detail with stickles and glossy accents on all of the baubles.
I've even added glossy accents to Santa's tiny little buttons!
I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  May I also take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas!  I hope tomorrow is all that you wish it to be!

This is awesome Jane! I so love your hand drawn tree and the lettering is wonderfully done, so professional! I thought it was a font and was so surprised to hear you did it by hand. WELL DONE! The colouring is just divine!
