Good morning! It is time for our first Magnolia Only Challenge of 2015 over at The Ribbon Girls. Our theme is Seeing Spots. My card is a winter birthday card for a relative who loves to go skiing! I love it when you can use a Christmas stamp at other times, don't you? My spotty paper is by MME and I have distressed the edges and painted them with Picket Fence Crackle Paint.
I have painted the image with Distress Ink pads and added some details with a white gel pen. I also used a silver gel pen for her zip and the ski poles. All of the flowers, the gorgeous lace and the cheesecloth are from The Ribbon Girl. You can see in this photo that I have covered Tilda's Ski jacket with Glossy Accents to make it look more realistic.
The sentiment is from Magnolia and again the flowers and curly stamen are from The Ribbon Girl.
I used one of the new ticket dies from the Vol 3 Doohickey Club Kit to make the tags. The seam binding and rose are from The Ribbon Girl too.
The gorgeous birch tree and cardinal dies were a gift and are by Impression Obsession.
I hope you like my card and I've inspired you to join us this week at The Ribbon Girls. Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations. Thanks for looking! x
