Good morning! As it's New Year's Eve I would like to share with you my favourite creations from 2016 as I always do. I love looking back through my blog to find my favourites for each month - some months I couldn't chose just one lol! I hope you enjoy my little trip down memory lane!
January
Love the sweet Tilda on this one!
February
Two creations using Stempelglede stamps for February. This altered canvas was created from an inspirational photo for a competition on the Stempelglede blog...
...and this one has to be my all time favourite for the whole year. It took many hours to create but it turned out just as I'd imagined!
March
This was my attempt at a My Little Pony card for my little girl to take to a friend's party...
...and this one was for our bittersweet final birthday challenge on the Magnolia Down Under Challenges blog. Still miss it!
This was the card I created for my little girl's birthday.
April
I didn't get round to many scrapbook pages again this year, despite my resolution too, but this one is my favourite. Love the colours and the paper so much!
Loved how my doodling on Tilda's shirt and hat turned out on this one.
This card was for my nephew. I love this cute Magnolia image with the dragon.
May
I love creating my own shaped cards. This one was also for my nephew.
This canvas was created as a back drop to the Magnolia flowers that I had a go at making, inspired by my beautiful Magnolia tree in my garden.
June
Loved the colours and doodled beach scene on this one!
July
I had to chose this one from July as I think this image is so amazing with its big wave splash behind Tilda. It is so much fun to colour!
Another card with Stempelglede stamps. I think I need to combine these stamps again as I love the overall effect it created!
August
This was something totally different for me and I love it so much, despite my love for fussy and fancy things!
Another project that took hours and hours to complete but my little girl loved it and that's all that matters!
I was really proud of this one for my son's birthday.
This one was actually made with the reject background attempt from my butterfly Stempelglede card above. Still love how it turned out though!
September
This one reminds me of my holiday in London. Love Edwin in his guard's uniform!
I almost couldn't give this one away. I love foxgloves and love how my attempt to make them turned out!
October
One of my favourite dies to come out this year was this wedding cake die from Magnolia.
November
This card was special to me as I taught my little girl how to paint by us both painting this image at the same time. She chose the colours!
December
Another card that I almost couldn't part with! My nephew loves Minions so watch out for another one of these next year lol!
Last but not least, the Christmas card I made for my little girl. She chose the image herself and it was another one we painted in our little teaching session. This soft pink, aqua and cream is my favourite colour combination too!
I hope you've enjoyed my little look back through my 2015 creations. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a wonderful time seeing the New Year in this evening!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
♥
