Good morning! I am so excited to share today's card with you. As a Star Wars fan I was thrilled to discover this Edwin in the Hoppy Easter envelopes! He's got to be a Jedi don't you think? I've decided he is Luke anyway, whether he's meant to be or not!
I have painted him with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added dots to his cheeks and eyes with a white gel pen. I then set about painting the Tatooine background.
Star Wars fans like myself will hopefully recognise this famous landmark - Jabba the Hut's Palace. I painted the background with Distress Inks using a picture from my son's Star Wars annual as a reference.
The tags were cut with a die that was in the envelope with this Edwin.
I have hand written the sentiments with a white gel pen.
I have added a couple of sequins and gems as decoration.
The moon stamp came in the envelope with Edwin too. Of course I had to stamp it twice as Tatooine has two moons!
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

So that background is hand drawn by you??? Wowzers Jane!!! Amazing indeed!!!
Very cool, Jane! I'm a huge Star Wars fan as well. Saw the first "A New Hope" as a teenager 36 times in the theater. LOL
I love your card. Fabulous free hand coloring of Jabba's palace and the background. Edwin makes the perfect Luke Skywalker, he's adorable. And love the addition of the two moons and the new tags from the Hoppy Easter collection. Can't wait to color Edwin myself.
Wishing you a lovely Easter!
