Stempelglede DT - Christmas Rose Stamp Set

Good morning!  I am so excited to share with you a card made with one of the stamps from the new Christmas Rose Stamp Set from Stempelglede!  Once again Gunhild has created the most beautiful stamps - I love them all!  For today's card I have used three stamps from the set.
The stunning deer stamp has to be my favourite from the set.  I have used the no lines technique to paint it with Distress Inks.  I can just imagine myself knee deep in snow looking at this image!  I also used a white gel pen to add the white markings on the baby deer.  I have used a Wink of Stella pen to add some subtle sparkle to the snow on the trees and ground too.
Some frosted pine cones and a jingle bell tied with twine are sufficient embellishments so as not to detract from the scene I think.
I have famed the image with different snowflake die cuts made with Magnolia Doohickey dies.  The snowflake swirl stamp around the edges of the paper and images is another stamp from the set.
I have added a gem to the centre of each snowflake for some extra Christmas sparkle.
To give the illusion of a clearing in the forest I used an Impression Obsession Birch Trees die.  I love this die for Christmas cards!  I also added a simple seam binding bow and some pretty white lace.
There you have it - my first Christmas card of the year is finished!  As usual I seem to have started very late - but I'm sure I'll have a few more made in no time thanks to this Christmas Rose stamp set!  Thanks for looking and enjoy your Sunday! x
