2022 Reflection

Good evening!  When I looked back at my blog this year I realised that last New Year's Eve I didn't even do a reflection post as I usually do.  It has definitely been a strange few years.  When I look back I have made a considerable amount that has been posted on account only places which haven't been blogged here.  That being said, I definitely have not crafted anywhere near as much as I would have liked to this year for one reason or another.  Hopefully that will change and I will be able to blog more regularly in 2023.  I don't even have a creation for each month of the year, but here are my favourite creations from the months that I do have:

December

These cute nutcracker cards made with Tim Holtz dies were definitely my favourite Christmas cards this year.  I'm sure Harvey is going to be featuring on lots of male cards throughout the coming year too.  I already have several ideas for him.

November

Although I only blogged this the other day I made it in November so I'm using it for my November choice!  I will definitely be on the lookout for more quirky designs like these from Magnolia Ink Market next year!

October

It has definitely been a year for more simplistic styles from me.  I loved creating the background for this Halloween card using Magnolia stamps and dies.

August

I'm not even sure if I blogged this one!  This was the card I made for my son's eighteenth birthday.  Again a simple style but I do love the way it turned out.

July

Another cute card with Magnolia dies for July's choice.  These dies are also from Magnolia Ink Market and the papers are by Maja Design.

March

I have been so terrible at blogging my creations this year!  This is the Mother's Day card I made this year using Magnolia Doohickey dies from Volume 31.  I didn't just leave the sentiment at 'Happy', it does say Mother's Day inside lol!

February

Another card I don't think I blogged.   This one was for my daughter and again used the gorgeous dies from Doohickey Volume 31.  That sentiment and the numbers are so versatile!  I cut strips of card in pastel rainbow colours to show behind the negative of the die for this one.  I do love using die negatives as well as the die cuts themselves.

I hope you've enjoyed my little look back at 2022.  I wish you a Happy New Year and hope you have a wonderful evening of celebrations to see in the New Year!
