Whiff of Joy DT Preview and Whiff of Joy Challenge DT - Anything but Square
Simon Says Stamp DT - Domi's sketch
Wednesday already and time for another Simon Says Stamp challenge!! As always we are sponsored by the wonderful Heidi with a whopping $50 credit voucher for the Simon Says Stamp store!!
This week our challenge is a gorgeous sketch by Domi. The team are showcasing Penny Black stamps so if you have any we'd love to see them on your cards but it isn't a requirement to enter the challenge!
My card features several Penny Black stamps from the Garden Friends set as I just couldn't decide which one to use LOL! My papers are from Prima's Annalee paper pad - sooo in love with these papers! I've distressed them with walnut stain distress ink and also stitched them.
They remind me of Beatrix Potter drawings - don't you think?? With this in mind I wanted to colour them in soft colours to give a watercoloured effect - I love the result!
I added some lace from my stash and the spotty scalloped border under the lace is cut from the Prima papers.
All the flowers are by Prima. The large white daisy is a Prima e-line flower and the other two are Athena flowers - my faves!! The leaves were punched with a woodware punch.
Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Simon Says Stamp challenge! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x

Whiff of Joy DT - Another preview meets Mojo Monday
Woohoo! I'm back with another preview from the amazing digi images to be released by Whiff of Joy on 1st April! This one is Soccer Ben and he's so cute and perfect for all those little boy cards! I have used the sketch at Mojo Monday for my card - it fitted perfectly with the football background I had in mind already!! I have drawn and cut the shapes of the football myself - phew! - who knew creating a football could be so complicated LOL, it took a lot longer than I had anticipated!!
I have coloured Ben with copics and popped him on foam pads so he stands out from the card. A glutton for punishment I also drew the small ball that Ben is standing next too although it was much easier after the headache of the large one LOL!
Along with the digi images there are some amazing dies being released on 1st April and a brilliant set of sentiments too. This sentiment is from the set and the four leaf clover die is one of the dies! The grass die is from Whiff of Joy too, from a previous release and I must say it is one of my most used dies! Brilliant for creating scenes!
Just Chill'n for Quixotic Paperie!

Whiff of Joy DT - A double preview!
My card today features two more previews from the Whiff of Joy digital images to be released on 1st April - Samurai Henry and Large Tree. Of course, being digital images it is easy to merge them together to create all kinds of great scenes! I have used paper from Basic Grey's Curio paper pad.
I have coloured both images with copics and inked around the edges of the image with walnut stain distress ink. I created the sentiment myself on the computer and printed it onto kraft cardstock.
The fabulous chinese style trinket is by Papermania - perfect for this Samurai image! I have tied it on with Whiff of Joy's button twine.
Hope you like it and don't forget to stop by to see another preview tomorrow! Thanks for looking! x

Whiff of Joy DT - Sweet Nora Preview!
I coloured Nora with copics and added stickles to parts of her dress and hat. I inked around the edge of the image mat with Victorian Velvet distress ink.
Another Hoppie for Mojo Monday
Isn't she adorable!?!? This is "Favourite Doll" and I've coloured her with copics. The velvet ribbon and gorgeous crystal flower bead are from The Hobby House too although I believe the flowers are sold out at the minute - they flew off the shelves at Harrogate!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge DT - Shabby Chic
Woohoo!! Time for another challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this week is one of my favourite challenges - shabby chic!! I do love this style although sadly I seem to be doing it less and less and I don't really know why! All my cards used to be this style - it felt so good to make my card like this again that I think I shall be changing my style back to my original one more often!! I'm also entering my card into Paperplay challenge who would like to see distressing. I used a scrap of paper from my stash that had been used on another card and taken off so it was perfect for a shabby chic look as it had some torn patches where the glue had been! I think it is by BoBunny but I'm not sure. The edges were distressed with walnut stain distress ink.
I coloured Tilda and her little bunny friend with copics and tore the edges of the image mat before inking with walnut stain.
I added some gorgeous wide lace that was a gift from my Whiff of Joy teamie Tanja and I was really brave and used some of my precious Tim Holtz ribbon - LOVE this tattered flower one!
I added some Prima flowers and a blossom from Wild Orchid Crafts together with some die cut leaves from a doohickey die. The large button came out of the washer when it was repaired LOL hence it's distressed look!!! The small pearl button is from The Hobby House.
I cut out the cute butterfly from the Magnolia spring kit and popped it on the corner of the image.

Whiff of Joy DT - Preview time!!!
Woohoo!! It is time for another set of previews from Whiff of Joy and this time Katharina is having a digi release due to popular demand!! Today's card features four of the new images! I had such fun creating this! As you can see there are four super hero images being released on 1st April and so I thought it would be fun to create a little comic strip with them! Being digital images I could change the size of course so it worked perfectly!! I added borders and cartoon style k-pows etc with the computer before printing the whole design out to colour!
