Craft Heaven DT - Get Well Soon

Good morning!  I am back with another card using a Magnolia stamp from the Get Well Collection.  The papers are from Maja Design's gorgeous Summertime paper pad.

I painted Tilda with Broken Leg using Distress Inks as always and added some details to her dress, cheeks and eyes with a white gel pen.  I have placed tiny pearls to the scallop edge around the image.

The sentiment comes with this stamp.  The font is so beautiful on this one!  The gorgeous blossoms are from Craft Heaven and the sticking plasters were cut with the Heart Band Aid Doohickey die.

I have cut more sticking plasters for the other side of the image.  The rose is from Craft Heaven too.

The tiny hearts were cut with the Heart Band Aid Doohickey too and the gorgeous heart backgrounds were cut with the Heart Background Doohickey die.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Magnolia-licious Challenge DT - XO

Good morning!  Today I have my inspiration post for Magnolia-licious Challenge.  We have our usual 'Anything Goes' challenge with the extra option of adding lace this month.  I have used some gorgeous papers from the Magnolia-licious store by Maja Design from their Denim and Friends collection.
I have masked three stamps together to make my image: Porch Tilda, Swing Branch and Happy Swing.  I have painted them with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have added some sparkle to Tilda's top with a Wink of Stella pen - this is a new addition to my stash and I love it!
I have used the branch and leaf Doohickey from kit 14 for the tree branches.    I love how they match the stamped branch.  I did a spot of doodling around the image here and there and added some butterflies punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
The tag was cut with a Doohickey die from the Easter countdown calendar and the XO was cut with a Tim Holtz die.  I've added lace, twine and flowers from my stash.
The hearts were cut with another die from kit 14.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us over at Magnolia-licious.  Thanks for looking! x

Ribbon Girl DT - Anything Goes

Good morning and Happy New Year!  I hope you had a wonderful time seeing the New Year in last night!  My first card of 2017 is for our Ribbon Girl Challenge of Anything Goes.
I have painted the super cute London Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have added Glossy Accents to the umbrella, umbrella handle and her Wellington boots and Stardust Stickles to the raindrops and water splashes.
I designed and printed the sentiments myself.  All of the gorgeous flowers, the lace and the cheesecloth are from The Ribbon Girl.
I have added 3mm pearl beads, also from The Ribbon Girl, to the centres of the Kort & Godt rolled roses to look like stamens.
I have used the new heart tag from the Magnolia Advent Calendar above the flowers and also the cloud Doohickey.  The seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl too.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at The Ribbon Girl.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations.  Thanks for looking! x

All About Magnolia Challenge DT - All About Shaped Cards

Good morning!  It is time for another challenge reminder at All About Magnolia Challenge and this month our theme is 'All About Shaped Cards'.  I've used a Doohickey die from Vintage Box 1 for the shape of my card and edged it with pieces of the Doily Doohickey.
I've used one of the sentiments from the We Made It collection as the focus of my card instead of an image.  I've then used lots of dies.
The flowers were cut with a Spellbinders die and I've used a combination of roses and pine cone charms in the centres, both from The Ribbon Girl.
I've used the Strawberry Doohickey and several tag Doohickeys around the sentiment.
I've also used the Butterfly Doohickey and Heart Tag Doohickey.  The tiny red flowers are some two tone flowers from The Ribbon Girl but I have removed the white petals that they had.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at All About Magnolia Challenge.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations.  Thanks for looking! x

The Sketchy Challenges DT - My Sketch! and Whiff of Joy DT

Woohoo!!  It is time for another challenge over at the Sketchy Challenges and this fortnight it is my turn to provide the sketch!  My sketch is round but you don't have to create a round card - you can add the sketch to a regular square base if you wish!!  Unfortunately I had the need to create a get well soon card for my cousin's tiny little 10 week old baby boy this week.  He is in hospital with meningitis and worrying us all sick but thank goodness he is on the mend now :)!!!  I really scratched my head over what image to use on a baby get well card and was just about to purchase a really cute baby from Mo's Digital Pencil when I remembered Willow with Toddler from Whiff of Joy - I'm so glad I did remember because I think it was just perfect for the occasion!  So peaceful and serene looking!
I stamped the image so that the bottom part of the dress fades away and then coloured the image with copics.  I added some white dots to the babygrow with a white gel pen.
The chipboard heart was cut with a sizzix die and I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen too.  The punched edge is a Martha Stewart punch and the ribbon is from my stash.
I created a little lollipop flower from some of the backing papers, which were a gift from my lovely friend Louise and the brad in the centre is from Whiff of Joy.  The sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy, but I cut it into little tiles after stamping.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at The Sketchy Challenges!  Pop over to the blog to see the stunning creations from the rest of my team mates!  Thanks for looking! x

Whiff of Joy Challenge DT - Karina's Sketch

Woohoo!!  It is time for another challenge at Whiff of Joy challenges and this fortnight we have another stunning sketch from Karina for you to use!  I just love Karina's sketches, don't you!?  The papers I  have used are from MME and I have sewn and distressed the edges.
I have used "Comfort the Baby" from Whiff of Joy and coloured them with copics.  Bless the baby mouse, he looks so sad!
The gorgeous ribbon is also from Whiff of Joy as are the pearls and the pin!  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the cheesecloth is from my stash.
The sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy and I cut the tag with a nestabilities die.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at Whiff of Joy Challenge!  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations!  Thanks for looking! x

Magnolia Down Under Challenges DT - Edwin Only

Woohoo!!  It is time for another challenge at Magnolia Down Under Challenges and this week we would like to see just Edwin on your cards!  Bless him, he doesn't get much of a look in does he with so many cute Tilda images!  I decided to make a get well card using the gorgeous Dr Edwin  #000 stamp available exclusively at Magnolia-Licious!!

I have coloured Edwin with Prismacolor pencils using the burnishing technique again.  I have inked around the edge of the image mat with walnut stain distress ink.
The Get Well Soon sentiment is from Whiff of Joy and the gorgeous flower is from Magnolia.  I used the doohickey heart swirl die and a Martha Stewart punch on the border.  The checked paper is from Magnolia and the graph paper is by Girls' Paperie.  I drew a temperature chart in red to add to the get well theme.
I have added a chipboard heart cut with a sizzix die and the rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The twine on the little tag is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.  Did I say tag?
The twine is attached to a little thermometer shaped tag I created that tucks behind the image - you can write a message on the back.  The mercury bulb at the bottom is a half pearl and I have drawn on the rest of the markings.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning cards.  Thanks for looking! x

Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar DT - Circles

Woohoo!! It is time for another challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and this week our theme is circles! I love circular cards, they just seem to be so cute! Mine is a tiny circle card cut with a nestie - but is perfectly proportioned for mini nurse Tilda!! I'm entering my card in the Colour Create challenge who's colour scheme is kraft, red and white too!
I've coloured Tilda with copics - this mini is so cute, I think I need to get the full size version too!

The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy stamped onto a tag cut with the dream tag doohickey die. The heart pin is from my stash and I added some pearls with some liquid pearls. The butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The gorgeous checked paper is by Magnolia.
The leaves were also cut with a doohickey and I added some flowers from my stash. I also added liquid pearl dots around the edge with liquid pearls.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge. Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x

Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar challenge DT - anything goes!

This week's challenge at JM and H&S is anything goes with the added option of using ribbon. I used one of my new hAnglar & sTanglar stamps this week. I have used papers from the Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby collection, distressed with walnut stain distress ihnk and stickles.

I have coloured the image with copics but tried to make it look like distress ink colouring as I have seen a few people doing this around blogland and quite liked the idea as I do love hAnglars coloured in distress inks but just LOVE my copics too much!

The beautiful sentiment is from the Stempelglede Just a Note set stamped with archival coffee ink. The flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaves are a McGill punch that I am never using ever again as it is one without a lever and I put my neck and shoulder out for four days when I used it!!! Ironic given the sentiment I added LOL!!

I added some lush lace from my stash and a satin bow and ribbon along with a few pearls. I used MS doily lace punch along the edge of the pink paper.

Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at JM and H&S challenge! Pop over to the challenge blog to see my teamies' incredible cards!!! Thanks for looking! x
This card will be for sale on ebay from this evening.
