Woohoo!! It is time for another challenge over at the
Sketchy Challenges and this fortnight it is my turn to provide the sketch! My sketch is round but you don't have to create a round card - you can add the sketch to a regular square base if you wish!! Unfortunately I had the need to create a get well soon card for my cousin's tiny little 10 week old baby boy this week. He is in hospital with meningitis and worrying us all sick but thank goodness he is on the mend now :)!!! I really scratched my head over what image to use on a baby get well card and was just about to purchase a really cute baby from Mo's Digital Pencil when I remembered
Willow with Toddler from Whiff of Joy - I'm so glad I did remember because I think it was just perfect for the occasion! So peaceful and serene looking!
I stamped the image so that the bottom part of the dress fades away and then coloured the image with copics. I added some white dots to the babygrow with a white gel pen.
The chipboard heart was cut with a sizzix die and I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen too. The punched edge is a Martha Stewart punch and the ribbon is from my stash.
I created a little lollipop flower from some of the backing papers, which were a gift from my lovely friend
Louise and the brad in the centre is from Whiff of Joy. The sentiment is also from
Whiff of Joy, but I cut it into little tiles after stamping.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at
The Sketchy Challenges! Pop over to the blog to see the stunning creations from the rest of my team mates! Thanks for looking! x
