Deep Ocean Challenge DT - Sparkle

Good evening!  It's time for another challenge at Deep Ocean and this fortnight we want to see some sparkle!  I have created another layout with Webster's Pages papers, from the Ladies & Gents Collection.

 Here's my sparkle on the dog's crown to replace the blue printed gems that were already there.

 I added some chipboard buttons from Webster's Pages along with some pennants cut by hand from some more Webster's Pages paper.

 The heart sticker is also from Webster's Pages and is actually hiding a pink balloon on the photo that was just spoiling the colour scheme of my layout lol!

 Another chipboard button and the leather twine is also from WP too!

 Underneath the photo matting I used a script stamp to peep out around the edges.

Deep Ocean Challenges DT - Favourite Colours

Woohoo!!  It is time for another challenge at Deep Ocean Challenges and this fortnight we want you to use your favourite colours.  I must admit, I pretty much like all colours and tend to go through phases of favourite colours depending on the season or a new paper pad perhaps.  At the moment it seems to be pink and white, probably because I spent a lot of time creating pink and white things for my little girl's birthday recently :)!!  This is one of the ten cake boxes I made for her birthday party for her friends to take their slice of real cake home in!  I used a Sizzix die to make the boxes from pink and white card.

 The cute rik rak that I have used to represent a cream filling is from The Ribbon Girl - I love it!  It is the daintiest rik rak ribbon I've seen!

The stunning roses and pale pink seam binding are also from The Ribbon Girl.

Deep Ocean Challenges DT - Flowers Fantasy

 Woohoo!!  It is time for another Deep Ocean Challenge and this fortnight our theme is Flowers Fantasy.  I have altered a headband for my little girl with some gorgeous flowers from Prima and Manor House.

 The large lilac flower is from Manor House and is the perfect match for my little girl's favourite jeans, much to her delight!

 This gorgeous flower is from Prima and the little rose is from Hobby Craft.

Deep Ocean Challenges DT - Cute and Cuddly

Woohoo!!!  It is time for another Deep Ocean Challenge and this fortnight our theme is "cute and cuddly".  How could I not create another layout of one of my little ones!?  This photo of my daughter snuggled up in the faux fur coat she had when she was one fit the "cute and cuddly" theme perfectly!!  I have layered Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane vellum over a piece of white cardstock for the base of my page.  After deciding where my photo should go I did some random paint swipes and stamping with white acrylic paint coming out from the edges of the photo area.  I used stamps from the Stempelglede Vintage Garden set.  I then made a heart around the photo with a piece of pink bloomer from Webster's Pages and tucked ruched pieces of Webster's Pages lace around that here and there.  Then it was time for flowers.

Recognise the large daisy?  It is the one I showed you a while back when I had a play with my Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die.  The "you're adorable" ticket is from Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane range.

The stickers spelling {cute} are from Webster's Pages too.  You can see in more detail the Stempelglede stamping I have done around the edges of the layout.

I cut another flower from felt with a Magnolia doohickey peony die.  The blossom with green stamens is from Prima as is the tiny hydrangea flower at the bottom.

The pink blossom is from The Ribbon Girl and the larger flower is also from Prima.

The flower with the pearl centre is another one of the flowers I made with the Tim Holtz die back in January.

The blue tulips are from Magnolia and the aida hydrangea is another one from Prima.

All around the edges of the vellum I've done some light distressing with white acrylic paint interspersed with stamping here and there.

Deep Ocean Challenges DT - For a Boy!

Woohoo!!  We're back with another Deep Ocean Challenge and this fortnight our theme is "For A Boy".  A perfect reason to create a scrapbook page for my little boy.  All the papers and embellishments are from Webster's Pages.

LOVE these Perfect Accents from Webster's Pages!  I've wrapped a piece of cord recycled from a clothing label around it to tie in with the ropes in the photo.

The alphabet stickers are also from Websters Pages...

...and so are all the gems around the layout.

Deep Ocean Challenges DT - "B" for...

It is time for another Deep Ocean Challenge and this fortnight our theme is "B is for...".  In my case B is for Baby, but you can choose anything as long as it begins with B!  Awwwww I just go all gooey looking at this photo of my gorgeous daughter when she was about an hour old!!  I have used the most gorgeous paper from Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane collection.

I've used lots of different flowers from my stash.  The aida flowers are from Prima and so are the blossoms.  The gorgeous twirly stems, rolled roses and lily flowers are from The Ribbon Girl.

The metal word tag is from my stash and I've added a Prima Pebble to the centre of one of the flowers.

The butterfly is from Webster's Pages and I've added a wooden heart and twine from The Ribbon Girl.

The gorgeous lace was on the top of one of her teeny tiny baby socks!  I love keeping treasures like this by adding them to scrapbook layouts!

I used Martha Stewarts Cherish PATP set around the harlequin paper and the sentiment sticker is from Webster's Pages.

The gorgeous heart is, yes, you've guess it, from Webster's Pages lol!!

So is the journal tag!!

Deep Ocean Challenge DT - Love and Lace!

Good evening!!  It is time for another Deep Ocean Challenge and this fortnight our theme is "Love and lace".   I opted for a layout of my favourite snowy photo taken a couple of years ago when we had so much snow that my son's school was closed for a whole week!  We attempted to make an igloo and this photo is of them just before we put the roof on (which duly collapsed lol).  I have used Webster's Pages Winter Fairy Tale papers throughout and lots of gorgeous Webster's Pages trims.

I have used some purple bobble trim from the Magical trims set and a gorgeous pink designer thread doily in the corner.

I fussy cut lots of garden elements from the paper and layered them in the bottom left of the page and also added a place for some journalling.

In the top left corner I wanted to create a stylised snowflake.  I cut a scalloped paper from the collection and  folded it concertina style to create a segment of the snowflake and then snipped up some gorgeous trim to make the delicate ends.

The gorgeous sparkly lace and bloomer trim are also from Webster's Pages and I have added some gems from my stash.

I have added a snowflake cut with Tim Holtz dies to the centre of this bloom and added another snippet cut from the pearl trim to the centre.

I had a tiny piece of pearl trim left over and added it to the top right corner of the photo.

Another snowflake adorns the top left of the photo....

....and the alpha stickers and "fun" sticker are also from Webster's Pages.

Deep Ocean Challenges DT - Anything But Square!

 Good evening!  Did you all enjoy looking at all the crafty spaces on our last Deep Ocean Challenge??  I know I did, I love having a nosy at how others store all their craft items for some ideas!  Our new challenge for this fortnight is "Anything but square".  I loved this challenge as it gave me the perfect opportunity to finish  the gorgeous printers tray my gorgeous friend Kylie sent me that I'd given a base coat to an not finished!

 I wrapped the entire frame with some Tim Holtz tissue tape - this was perfect for getting into all the little nooks and crannies and the frame was covered in no time at all!  The papers are from Pink Paislee's London Market paper pad and to enhance my photos I have added some plaster embellishments from Panduro Hobby along with some flowers.  The gorgeous butterfly is from Pink Paislee too and the little shell and acorn top are some things the children collected that I wanted to keep.

 The Love ticket is, of course, by Tim Holtz too.

 The large heart gem was saved from a chocolate box and the gorgeous chenille/chord trim is from my stash.

 The stunning wings are from Panduro Hobby too and the beautiful rolled rose is from The Ribbon Girl and are my favourite new embellishment!

 The gorgeous cabachon is also from The Ribbon Girl.  I forgot to take a photo of the back but I have added a stand using Tim Holtz small easel die so that the picture frame stands of it's own accord on the mantlepiece - a shabby chic addition to my sitting room :).
