As usual, here is my second post for today, this time with the Simon Says Stamp challenge details!!! Our challenge this week is "things with wings", a nice easy challenge, especially for me as you probably know how much I love butterflies!! The DT are showcasing CC Design stamps this week, so if you have any we'd love to see them on your project, but you can use any other stamp you like! I am also entering this into the challenge at Sketch Saturday, I just loved the sketch this week - thank you so much!! I'm afraid I can't remember the name of the papers as that all important strip was trimmed off a while ago! I've distressed the edges with victorian velvet distress ink and stickles. I have stitched all the edges too.
Isn't this image adorable!?!?! This is Gretel from CC Designs and I just love her and she's great to colour too! I've coloured her with Copics and added stickles to her wings and a tiny half pearl for the button on her dress.
These flowers are my new favourites from Prima! Aren't they gorgeous? I had them as one of my Friday Flowers candies a couple of weeks ago and just had to get some for myself too! The leaves have been punched with a Woodware punch and the pearls are from my stash.
The gorgeous butterfly was cut from the paper and covered in stickles.
The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy's 1001 nights kit, stamped with pink Q chalk and I punched the circle with a Woodware punch.
Hope you like it and can join us this week at Simon Says Stamp challenge. Pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the DT's creations - stunning as always, and don't forget my Whiff of Joy challenge post below - why not combine the two challenges?? x
