Whiff of Joy challenge

This is my card for the challenge on the Whiff of Joy challenge blog to Katharina's gorgeous sketch. I'm really pleased with it, in fact I don't think I could ever give it to anybody I love it so much! I'm particularly pleased with how my grungey paper has turned out along the bottom. I didn't really have any paper that went with the top paper so made my own grunge style backing paper with Qchalks and a small flowery swirl stamp. Will definitely be making some more grunge papers as I really love distressed things. I made my own scalloped edge with a flower punch and then chand cut the scallops. I also made my own sentiment as the only ready made ones I have are silver which didn't quite look right. I have also grunged the edges of my image.

A close up of my hand written sentiment done with a gold pen.

A close up of my hand made grungey paper.

Paper: Prima Micheavelli and hand made

Ribbon and gems: from stash

Other tools: Xcut flower punch, Q chalks, Snag Em forget me not stamp
