Christmas Card for Marga's candy draw

The wonderfully talented Marga is currently guest designing for Whiff of Joy and has the cutest Santa with Snack stamp to give away as candy. To enter the candy draw Marga asks that you make a Christmas card. Well, how could I not join in with this? Those new Whiff of Joy Santa stamps are just so gorgeous and I'd love to win one that's for sure!

On Friday I went to The Hobby House and got myself the correct ink and a brush for distress ink colouring, and Saturday I got myself some smooth watercolour paper. Coincidentally Jacqui posted another fabulous distress ink tutorial, and so I spent last night practicing, and practicing, and practicing LOL! So anyway, sorry I'm rambling, but it is because this is my first card made with an image coloured with distress inks! (got to the point eventually LOL) I think I still need a LOT more practice! While I was colouring Henry "deck the halls" jumped into my head and I was singing away and so I have drawn up a little music sheet of the first line to use on my card!

I stamped a Stempelglede grunge stamp in one corner and added tiny diamonds to the ends of the swirls.

The gorgeous ribbon that I have twisted along the music is part of the packaging of a Prima Christmas bubble. The poinsettias are from said Prima Christmas bubble and the leaves have been punched with a woodware punch and covered in stickles.
