Crafty Calendar Challenge 2

Yay it's nearly the weekend!!! It is also the first Friday of the month which means it is time for our second challenge at Crafty Calendar Challenge!! Thank you so much for all your gorgeous entries for our first challenge! I'm so sorry I didn't manage to comment on them all, things are a little hectic at the moment! This month's challenge is to make a card with a weather theme - any kind of weather you like - with the option to include pearls. As you can see I decided to attempt an acetate card......VERY hard to photograph as I'm sure those who have already ventured here will know! I cannot tell you which "take" this is, I lost count LOL! I think I'll stick to good old paper and card in future! The photo still doesn't do the card justice but there are only so many times you can take a picture of the same card!

The papers are K&Co, the image of the boys sledging is cut from one of the papers and was the idea for the card as it seemed a shame to use the papers and not be able to see the image!

The large snowflake I made myself and the rest are punched using a MS snowflake punch. All have been covered in MS glitter and have a pearl centre.

I have added stickles to the huge snowflake on the BP inside. In real life it really sparkles and is so effective through the acetate, just wish you could see it!

On the back of the card is a space to write a message.
Well, I hope you will forgive me this diversion from my usual style, and I look forward to seeing all your gorgeous entries! Please pop over and have a look at the rest of the DT's creations, they are gorgeous! x

Hi Jane! Your card is stunning! Love the acetate and your beautiful snowflakes. The snowflakes on the acetate seem to be "falling gently from the sky", it looks amazing!

Thank you for leaving such a nice comment on my blog!

Have a great week :)
