Whiff of Joy challenge - 3 papers, 2 bling, 1 flower

Gosh! I really can't believe it is Wednesday again already!! I absolutely loved looking at all your cards to my sketch, thank you so much for all your amazing entries, I'm so relieved you liked it! This week at Whiff of Joy challenge we have a recipe for you: 3 papers, 2 bling and 1 flower. There are also a couple of great reasons to join in this week - firstly, the winner will be our guest designer for February, and secondly, we are looking for a new DT member to join us full time!!!! Woohoo!!!!

Anyway, back to my card, I'm not keen on this card to be honest as I don't like the colours together now I've done it but I didn't have time to change it, but never mind! I have used K&Co Wild Saffron collection papers on my card and the gorgeous Charlotte with mailbox image from the new Happy Mail collection. I do love how versatile this new release is don't you??
I have coloured her with copics and distressed the edges of the image with Walnut Stain distress ink and stickles. The sentiment is also from the Happy Mail collection and comes with the Charlotte riding Pidgeon stamp along with 4 other sentiments. I have stamped it with Weathered Wood distress ink.
I have wanted to make a lollipop flower for ages and just never seem to remember about them but I wanted quite a large flower with the recipe stipulating only 1 could be used so this was a perfect opportunity to make one. I have torn the edges of the circles and crumpled the paper, added a pearl brad from the Hobby House to the centre and stickles around the edges.
My second bit of bling for the recipe is this heart charm, also from the Hobby House.
Hope you like it and thanks for taking the time to visit me! Check out the rest of the DT's stunning creations here. Hope you can join us this week x
