Today I have another sneak peek for you of the new release at Whiff of Joy stamps - Happy Mail. There are 8 stamps in total, being released on Saturday 9th January. This one is called Charlotte with Mail box. Such a cute stamp and another versatile one I think. I have used it for a birthday card for my Sister in Law using the fantastic sketch at
Sketch Saturday challenge. The gorgeous paper is from the K&Co Wild Saffron collection, distressed with Walnut Stain distress ink.
I have coloured Charlotte with copics and used a gold gel pen for the buckles on her shoes and the rivets on the mail box. Around the edge of the image I have stamped one of the Christmas swirls from Whiff of Joy using Weathered wood distress ink and also sponged the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink before adding stickles to the swirls.
I have added a double layer of ribbon, one ivory chiffon from my stash and the gorgeous aqua velvet one is from the Hobby House. The butterfly I have cut out of the BP and covered it in stickles. The roses are from Wild Orchid crafts and have been sprayed with glimmer mist. I added a few branches from brown cardstock punched with MS branch punch.
For the two corner elements in the sketch I have used varying sizes of gems to form a little corner flourish.
