Whiff of Joy DT not so sneaky peek

Morning! Did you get any of the new Happy Mail stamps yesterday??? Here is my not so sneaky peek of the eighth stamp in the collection, Charlotte with letter. Another really versatile one me thinks. You could use this stamp for just about any occasion really couldn't you? The envelope is blank so you can add whatever you like to it! I have made a little box to hold love letters (not that I get any, was just an idea that sprang to mind LOL). I made the basic box from red cardstock and yes, sorry, used my new punch around the page punch from MS again, I am so in love with this punch!
I have coloured this cute little Charlotte image with copics and then I masked her and sponged the background with tattered rose distress ink and then stamped one of the sentiments that comes with the Charlotte riding Pidgeon stamp "Love Letter" (which is what gave me the idea for this box). I also stamped the sentiment on the envelope too. I have mounted the image on a square edged with.....yes.....my new punch! The edges of the punched loops have been sponged with frayed burlap distress ink.
A full view of the top of the box for you. The paper is the reverse of a BoBunny Christmas paper and I have stamped one of the swirls from the Whiff of Joy Christmas swirls kit using worn lipstick distress ink in each corner. The paper has then been distressed with scissors and frayed burlap distress ink. I then added lots of gorgeous roses, all from Wild Orchid crafts and sprayed with glimmer mist. The leaves are punched from white cardstock with a Woodware punch and aged with frayed burlap distress ink. The little circles with hearts on are from a Forever Friends die cut set which I have sponged with tattered rose and frayed burlap distress inks.
For the sides of the box I used a strip of the BP punched on both edges with the same punch and distressed with frayed burlap distress ink. I then ran a gorgeous velvet stitched ribbon from The Hobby House around it finished with a bow at the front.
Hope you like it and thanks so much for looking! Don't forget this gorgeous collection is now on sale at Whiff of Joy!! Happy Sunday to you x
