Just Magnolia Challenge - easel cards

Woohoo! Friday is here and that means it's time for another challenge at Just Magnolia. This week we would like to see easel cards for your entries. I do love this style of card don't you!? I made this one for my Brother and SIL to give to my Mum on Mother's Day. I also combined it with two challenges: Colour Create challenge where they want to see mint, chocolate and cream mmmm; and I used the gorgeous sketch by Jacque at Friday Sketchers even though I knew it would be too late to enter by the time I posted this, because I just loved the sketch! The mint paper is by K&Co and the cream paper is by Magnolia.
I have coloured Tilda with distress inks and stamped a Stempelglede grunge stamp around the edges using bundled sage distress ink. I've stitched around the image and all the papers.

I have made the flowers from some of the Magnolia paper using EK success punches. The brads are from the Hobby House and the button is from my stash. I thought it was perfect to tie in with the wooden spoon Tilda is holding! The ribbon and lace are both from my stash.

I added a few more flowers using the smallest EK success punch and attached a gorgeous Teapot charm from Whiff of Joy.

I love experimenting with different things to hold the easel card up. This is the first time I've used a bow for it but I think it is my favourite so far! It makes the card a little bulky in the envelope but I think it looks gorgeous when displayed! The sentiment I designed on the computer and I have stamped and stitched it to match the image mat.

Hope you like it and can join us this week! Have a look at the rest of the DT's inspirational cards here! Thanks for looking x
