Firstly thank you all for your amazing entries! Wow over 400, that is so amazing, thank you all!! We have an absolutely gorgeous sketch for you this week at Simon Says Stamp challenge! My lovely teamie Iris has created it for us and it really is gorgeous, thanks Iris!! The DT are showcasing Magnolia stamps this week so if you have one we'd love to see it on your card, if not you can still join in, we just love seeing your work!! We had such an amazing amount of entries again this week, we're so thrilled you love joining in with us, thank you!!!
I have made another Mother's Day card, this one is a commission for my SIL. She loved this gorgeous K&Co paper when I showed her it (who can blame her LOL). I have distressed all the edges with my first of the new Tim Holtz distress inks - bundled sage!! The're all available in the Simon Says Stamp store and they're just gorgeous!! I have coloured Tilda's trousers with it too, it is such a gorgeous colour isn't it!? I have stamped a Stempelglede flourish around the edges of the image and covered it in stickles.
I added some ribbons from my stash threaded through punched holes and the sentiment is from a Forever Friends set I've had for ages.
The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts but were white so I have inked them with.......another new distress ink colour!!! Victorian Velvet, this is the most gorgeous pink I've ever seen!! I've also spritzed them with pearl glimmer mist. The leaves have been punched with a Woodware punch using some scraps of the stripey K&Co paper.
I stamped the gorgeous rose stamp from the Magnolia winter kit and coloured it with distress inks before cutting out and mounting onto foam pads on the base of the easel card.
