Double Dutch Hanglar & Stanglar

I'm back!!! Hope you all had a lovely Easter. I haven't been anywhere but my mojo has, hence no posts over the long weekend!! Oh it is such an awful feeling when you want to create and you just can't think of a single thing :(. I have spent the weekend making some commissions under the brief (simple and elegant, less is more - VERY difficult for moi LOL!!) I think this is why this card has so much on it - everything I wasn't able to use!! I have used the fabulous sketch at Double Dutch challenge which really helped to kickstart the old mojo with it's roundness LOL.

The papers are from MME Life Stories collection and I just love the gorgeous muted lavenders on the kraft. The "lace" I made myself from paper punched with MS doiley lace punch. Everything has been aged with Vintage Photo distress ink and then stickled.

Look at my little cuties!!!! So excited I managed to get my hands on these gorgeous Hanglars - a matching pair and have been itching to use them. I've coloured them with distress inks and added stickles here and there. I've stamped around the edge with a Stempelglede stamp using tattered rose distress ink and have used my favourite nestie (so far) to cut out the image.

The tulle and gorgeous slider are from the Hobby House.

The roses and blossom are from Wild Orchid crafts, all sprayed with glimmer mist and the large rose is from Hobby Craft, again sprayed with glimmer mist.

A fern leaf punched with my Leone Em punch is behind the rose and to finish I added three little butterflies using MS butterfly punch.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! See you tomorrow with my Whiff of Joy and Simon Says Stamp DT cards. x
