Whiff of Joy challenge - Green, Yellow and another colour

It's time for another challenge at the Whiff of Joy challenge blog and this week it is a colour challenge, green, yellow and another colour. Now, I must confess this gave me such a headache as I'm not really that into yellow and also, for some reason I always spend forever trying to find a paper that has all the colours on it when I do colour challenges and then remind myself later that the paper doesn't have to have all the colours on LOL! I was so lucky to be given the gorgeous Mr & Mrs Foxglove stamp and a few others as a thank you from Katharina for demonstrating on Saturday (thank you so much Katharina, I love them) and I just couldn't wait to ink this one up when I got home. I got some new copic colours at the show too which were perfect for foxgloves, and so I decided to use green, yellow and lilac as my colour combination. The paper is from Magnolia and I have inked the edges with spiced marmalade distress ink and then added stickles.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed colouring these two, they are just so gorgeous! I couldn't resist adding some spots just like real foxgloves LOL, which coincidentally are my favourite garden flower!
The sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy, stamped with spiced marmalade distress ink. The lace is from my stash and the unbelievably gorgeous swirls have been cut with my new Tim Holtz alterations die!! The butterflies are punched from glittered card with my MS butterfly punch.
The green and yellow roses are from Wild Orchid crafts, sprayed with glimmer mist and the large green flower is from Prima. I added a fern leaf punched with my Leone Em punch and some gold pins which are also from Whiff of Joy.
I also decorated the inside as this card was being sent straight out to someone. The gems are from the Hobby House.

I hope you like it and I have inspired you to join us this week! Thanks for looking! xx

Hi Jane
another lovely card, love the colours, dots and swirls. I brought this stamp on Saturday at the Ally Pally, and like you could not wait to get it home to ink it up.
