As you can see I've used him to make a Father's Day card for my hubby from the children. Connor thinks he's cool and had to have a go colouring him in too LOL! I have used red and blue card stocks for my card and some brick paper that I've had in my stash for ages so I'm afraid I don't know who makes it. My idea was to have Spidey as he's affectionately known bursting through a brick wall throwing one of his webs!
I've coloured him with copics and added a touch of stickles to the bit of web he's swinging from. As you can see his hand is in that iconic web throwing position so I saved a bit of plastic netting from some packaging and threaded some cotton to it so that I could thread it through his hand.
I have then attached the "web" to the bottom corner of the card.
I drew the star myself onto red cardstock and inked the edges with distress ink before drawing on the web design and sentiment.
The sketch called for three flowers but I have three bricks breaking away from the wall, cut from the paper and mounted onto grungeboard! I used some more of the plastic netting over the ribbon for some added interest.
I have created the red panels in the same way as the star and found these brads in my stash left over from some Christmas brads which were the perfect red - love it when that happens!
This picture shows the dimensions of the wall bursting open. I have added a few more scattered bricks here and there too.

Goodness me, Jane, you must make a card every 9 minutes. I have been scrolling through your blog for a very long time, admiring each and every one of your magnificent creations and I am only back at the beginning of June. Your cards really are ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! Your colourwork is amazing and your eye for detail, design and embellishment is perfect. I have gained so much inspiration that I'm just going to have to go an make a card. But, like Arnie Schwarzenegger: "I'll be back!" Warmest wishes, Lesley
