It is time for another challenge at
Simon Says Stamp challenge, and this week we have a sketch by Domi. Did you know we also have a separate challenge running until 15th May to make a wedding card for Domi? There is a fantastic prize! To be in with a chance of winning you need to make a wedding card for Domi and her husband to be, Uli, and post it to them. Anyway, back to my card for this week's challenge. I have used papers from Prima. This was a commission, hence the larger than usual size, which was their request.
The DT are showcasing Whiff of Joy stamps this week so we'd love to see them on your creation if you have any, if not you can still enter with any other stamps! I have used the sweet Mother and Child image - I LOVE this image and it was perfect for this card for a little girl to give to her Mummy! I have coloured the image with copics and the sentiment is hand written with a silver gel pen. I have distressed the edges with
bundled sage distress ink and stickles. The hearts and swirls are from the Christmas Swirls set from Whiff of Joy.
I have added a mixture of gorgeous flowers. The beautiful large pink flower is by
Prima and the rest are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The heart pins are from my stash.
The gorgeous grosgrain ribbon is by Offray. The gems which you can see on the photo below are by Kaisercraft and are available from
Simon Says Stamp.
