Tickled Pink Stamps GDT card

It's time for me to share another Lil Lolita from Tickled Pink Stamps with you!! Kellie challenged the DT to use ribbons this week. I decided to try my hand at a ribbon blossom, but I can't quite make up my mind whether I like it or not LOL! I kind of do like it but think it would be better with more colours and this was a last minute idea so had to use what was in my stash, but then I kind of think it would be better on a larger project as it is rather overpowering!!! What do you think?? I have used the gorgeous sketch at Our Creative Corner challenge for my card and papers from Basic Grey Cappella paper pad available at Simon Says Stamp. This little cutie is Willow - have you seen her eyelashes?? - Wow!
I've coloured her with copics and inked around the edge of the image with tattered rose distress ink. I also added some stickles around the edge of the oval.
So, here is a close up of my ribbon blossom. I have to say they are great for using up scraps of ribbon that aren't long enough to use across a card or tie a bow with!! I'm so tight I never throw any ribbon away no matter how small a piece so I was quite lucky that I had a few different colours to work with and they even matched the papers I was using!
I have used stickles on all my distressed edges which were inked with frayed burlap distress ink. The gorgeous pearls are from the Hobby House.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Don't forget you can get your hands on these cuties right now from Tickled Pink Stamps! x
This is my second post today (get me LOL), if you want to see my other card scroll down! x
