WOW! you all loved Mina's sketch - such gorgeous creations!! This week we have a theme challenge "in the garden" - lots of possibilities there!! I decided to make an easel card as it has been a while LOL. I used the last of my Basic Grey Wisteria paper, I've been hanging on to this bit LOL but it was perfect to go with the gorgeous lilac blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts who are our sponsors this week!
I decided to colour Tilda with copics for a change. I always used to colour everything with copics and then started colouring Tilda with inks but have been falling back in love with my copics recently after acquiring lots more colours!! Not too many to collect now LOL!! I have masked her together with the open gate stamp and decided to try one of the spotty backgrounds I'm seeing everywhere but not sure I did it correctly - shall have to study a tutorial as I love the look!
I used a fancy tag to mount the sentiment on which is from the April Whiff of Joy store stamp kit. The gorgeous vine leaf ribbon was a fab find in a local craft shop and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I trailed the ribbon along the base to meet where it starts on the top of the easel card so that it looks like one long trail when opened out (I know, you can't see it when the card is displayed LOL but thought it looked cool when you open the card up initially LOL)
