Whiff of Joy DT - City Girls II preview!!

I have another preview for you!! This new collection is certainly gorgeous and this one's no exception. This is Willow with Cocktail. I have followed the sketch at Truly Scrumptious for this one only I used a flower instead of a sentiment - hope that is OK! The papers are from Panduro Hobby and you'll be pleased to know Mina this is one of my "stroke only" ones that I have cut into - I'm in rehab LOL!!! To make matters worse I left my work in progress on my desk to find Kara had scrawled a doodle all over one of the corners with a bright blue copic marker!! Oh I had to lie down - good job it's double sided LOL!! Anyway, I digress, back to the card.
I have coloured Willow with Cocktail with copics and inked around the image with antique linen distress ink. I added some stickles to her bag and some very fine white glitter to the rim of her glass to look like one of those coctail's where the glass is dipped in sugar/salt hehehe!!!

I cut one of the flowers from the paper to use as an embellishment as I wasn't happy with the look of any of my paper flowers with it and I'm glad I did as I really like how coordinated it looks! The swirls are Tim Holtz flourishes die.

The ribbon and slider are from the Hobby House, as are the gems.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Not long now until you can get your own mits on these gorgeous stamps - they're on sale 25th June!!

Hi Jane
lovely card. Like you I had a card in progress that I had left on my desk, (I had forgotten that I had left it there) my little granddaughter (who was visiting) thought that it needed a bit of sparkle, and had used half a tube of glitter on it, it took me ages to just get the glitter off of her little hands lol. Huge congratulations on your Hanglar news, well done.
hugs
