Whiff of Joy DT - Fun at the beach!!

Here is my third and favourite card I made with the Whiff of Joy June kit "fun in the sun". Again photographed in my children's sandpit - but where else would you have a bucket and spade LOL?? I'm really pleased how this idea turned out and it was so quick to do too! As both my children love their sandpit I think I shall save this for Kara to give to Connor on his birthday. I am also going to enter it into the challenge at A Spoonful of Sugar as their challenge is enjoying the sunshine!

I have used the fabulous sandcastle as my main image and couldn't resist using the cute crab again! I've coloured all the images with copics. I used strips of coordinating cardstock to form the stripey bucket and then inked the edges with walnut stain distress ink for some definition and attached a long piece of ribbon to form a handle.
The bucket is filled with a sand (aka torn sandpaper LOL) and of course a spade, also made from cardstock.

The whole bucket is one big pocket so that the spade can pull out to reveal a message! I couldn't resist adding a little touch of sandpaper sand to the bottom of the spade too LOL - can you tell I had a lot of fun with this card!?!?!?
On the base of the easel card I have used some paper from K&Co wild saffron pad and my favourite little crab. A couple of ribbon tails from my stash to finish!

As you can see, it still folds down like a regular easel card too! Thanks for looking and don't forget to grab your "fun in the sun" kit here! x
