You have probably heard by now that my lovely Just Magnolia teamie Michelle had a terrible accident whilst tending to her beloved donkeys and has lost an eye. Michelle is just the sweetest blogging buddy and we really felt we needed to do something to help Michelle on the road to recovery, even if it is only to make her smile and so when Debbie from A Spoonful of Sugar asked if we would like to take part in the card drive for Michelle on the ASOS blog I immediately agreed! The drive will run from today until 27th July and we are asking that you make a card to send to Michelle. If you would like to take part you can find further details on the ASOS blog. Meljen designs kindly donated this cute as a button donkey digi image that I have used on my card and Ann from Raindrop Echo Designs has created some lovely sentiments too. Stampavie are collecting paypal donations to help Michelle's medical bills.
Here is the card I have made for Michelle. I used the gorgeous image and sentiments from Maljen and Rain Drop Echo and the colour challenge at Colour Create which is baby pink, peach and black.
I have coloured the little donkey with cpoics and added some stickles to the swirls and hearts and some butterflies with MS punch to flutter around it. The gorgeous peachey pink flower is by Prima and the other flowers are from my stash. The checked ribbon was perfect for adding the black for the challenge.
The sweet sentiment is on the base of the easel card and I added another butterfly and some gems.
If you would like to make a card for Michelle click here for further details. Thanks for looking! x
