Just Magnolia DT - Bev's sketch

We have an absolutely gorgeous sketch for you to use this week for the Just Magnolia challenge by the uber talented Bev!! I absolutely loved using this sketch an I'm sure you will too! My papers are Basic Grey Indian Summer and Magnolia, distressed and inked with walnut stain distress ink and stickles.
I have coloured Tilda with copics. I'm getting back into using these for Tilda now, they were the only thing I ever used originally and now that I almost have all the colours it is easier to match to papers so I'm loving them again!! I really can't decide which looks best for Tilda, distress inks or copics....I see other peoples copic Tildas and think WOW that looks best, then I see other people's distress ink Tildas and think...yep...WOW that looks best! LOL Ah well! I inked around the edge with tattered rose distress ink and stamped Magnolia's New Years swirl around the edge and stickled over the top of it before punching a couple of holes for the ribbon.
I've gone all Valentine's Day with this card. I didn't originally intend to but I was just colouring this Tilda just for the fun of it and did her red and black like she's in a ladybird costume and then the only sentiment I could think of was "love bug" and that was that LOL! Oh well, early start for next year! I have used the large heart from the Winter kit and the heart lock from a previous collection, both coloured in the same red as Tilda and then added a lattice heart punched with MS punch. The flower is layered up from two Prima e line flowers and a WOC rose, sprayed with glimmer mist and stickled. I also added a couple of tails or ribbon.

Hope you like it and can join us this week at Just Magnolia! You must see the rest of the teams stunning creations here! Thanks for looking! x

Hi Jane,

Your card is really gorgeous and I love the colors...
I think Tilda is as great with copics as she is with Distress, it all depends on which look you want for your card ^^
