Just Magnolia DT - Let's Get Sentimental

Phew, is it me or are these summer holidays just whizzing by?? It's Friday again already (like you need me to tell you LOL) and that means it is time for another challenge at Just Magnolia. This week we're getting sentimental - we'd like to see you using a sentiment along with your Tilda or Edwin, but it doesn't have to be a Magnolia sentiment. My paper is from Basic Grey Cappella paper pad and I've distressed it with vintage photo distress ink and stickles.

I have coloured Tilda with copics and added stickles to the lace on her pocket, her teardrop (bless her) and her hankerchief.
My sentiment is computer generated. I had intended cutting it into an oval with Tilda partly out of the nestie shape but I was so pleased with my shading around her I couldn't bare to cut any of it off so I ended up with a HUGE image/sentiment mat LOL.
The charm is from the Hobby House and the ribbon was saved off a box of chocolates (don't you just love free bits!). I thought the simplicity of the embellishments worked well with the huge image mat.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Pop over and see how the rest of the team got sentimental - absolutely stunning creations!! x

Totally agree about the large matt, works perfectly and the large sentiment is exacly right for that card, beautiful. Did you just put paper through the pc and then cut it into the size you wanted, i often see this done but i never have done it. Debbiexx

Love the colours & that leafy brown panel is amazing. The texture of her dress & apron with that handkerchief is quite delightful too.
