This week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp is Paper Piecing - love doing this don't you!? As usual the amazingly generous Heidi is providing a $25 gift certificate for the Simon Says Stamp store as the prize!
I decided Tilda was the order of the day seeing as she usually has a nice big area of clothing perfect for paper piecing! My Papers are from Basic Grey Cappella and I've inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink.
I have coloured her with copics before paper piecing her blouse using the same Basic Grey Cappella paper as the background panel. I have inked around the edge of the image with tattered rose distress ink.
I made a flower from some of the left over paper using EK success retro flower punches and a pearl from my stash. The peach flowers are flat Hero Arts flowers that I have folded up to look like flower buds and the roses are from my stash. I punched the leaves with a woodware punch.
The beautiful patterned ribbon is by Prima.
