At last, here is the card I made for my little boy's birthday. As you can see he turned 6 last Friday so I decided to incorporate that into the card by making the front section of the card into a 6. I drew the 6 freehand on the card stock before cutting out and covering with some red paper. I then drew on the spider web details as in Spider Henry's costume. The back of the card is covered with blue Happy Birthday paper from Around the Block.
I coloured Spider Henry from Whiff of Joy with copics and added stickles to the web he's holding. I used acetate for the middle of the 6 and drew a web with stickles onto the acetate. The web from his hand was drawn on with a white gel pen. I have also added Glossy Accents to his eyes but it isn't showing on the pictures.
The sentiment was cut from the reverse of the Around the Block paper and I cut some stars from the paper too which have been covered in Glossy Accents.
I covered the back of the card with the same blue paper and added a circle of red paper onto which I have drawn a web and a spidery sentiment.
