Crafty Calendar Challenge DT - Blue!!

It is time for another challenge at Crafty Calendar Challenge and this month we would like to see blue as September's birth stone is the sapphire. The optional extra is to include flowers. I have used the sketch at Create 4 Fun for my card. The papers are a mix from my stash and I've distressed the edges with faded jeans distress ink and stickles.
My cute little boy is from hAnglar & sTanglar, coloured with copics. I'm so ashamed, I've had this set for about a month now and this is the first time I've had the opportunity to ink any of them up - slapped wrists!!
I added a gardenia by Petaloo and some blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts, all sprayed with pearl glimmer mist. The leaves were punched with a Woodware punch.
The baby shoe charm is from The Hobby House and the bottle from Whiff of Joy. The lace is from my stash.
Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this month at the Crafty Calendar Challenge! Pop and see the rest of the teams gorgeous creations! Thanks for looking! x

The combination of blues & turquoise are so good here, love the golden effect on the wings too & the charms are such appropriate details. I can't get over the effect of combining white & cream, the cool blue & warmer turquoises with sepia hints. Amazing.
