Whiff of Joy Inspirations blog - my tutorial

I have just posted a tutorial on the Whiff of Joy Inspirations blog in relation to todays card, I hope you can find time to check it out! I have used Mojo Monday's sketch for the layout and papers from MME La Paperie stack. I'm also entering Cute Card Thursday's challenge as they would like to see material and I've used a chiffon flower (hope this counts!)

I have coloured Whiff of Joy's Melinda with bouquet with copics and inked around the edge of the image mat with bundled sage distress ink. I stamped one of Whiff of Joy's christmas swirls around the image with bundled sage distress ink too.

I have used MS butterfly punch around the page punch on the white cardstock and do you see the grass behind the butterfly edge? This is one of Whiff of Joy's gorgeous new dies!!! There are three in this first release of dies and they're available now from the Whiff of Joy store! They also come with a really ingenious clear template that allows you to perfectly position your dies with your stamps - such a brilliant idea!!

I have added a couple of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the chiffon flower is from the Hobby House. The ribbon is from my stash and the leaves are a Woodware punch. The details for the rest of the embellishments can be found in my tutorial!
Hope you like it and enjoy your weeked! I am having some precious me only time today, I have been ordered out of the house so that hubby can plan something with the children for my birthday next week LOL! Thanks for looking! x

Beautiful card. I did see your tutorial and it is easy to follow. I love the butterfly charm and was interested in trying to make one but can't find the charm. I looked at WOJ store and didn't see it. Is it new and maybe hasn't come out yet>

Thanks,
Debbie

I adore the colours here - the white of the image coupled with the turquoises gives such a lovely vintage feel especially with that golden distressing. Love the attention to detail.

A very pretty card Jane - love the feeling of movement in it. Very serene image too. Loving the 'grass' and will definitely be checking out those dies. And your charm embellishment and the pin are wonderful finishing touches. A joy to look at!
