Winter Wonderland!

I'm really excited about showing my card today as I just love it soooo much!! I have made it for the Hobby House using some gorgeous Making Memories snowflake printed transparent film (I'm calling it film as it is not thick like acetate). I wanted to make the film the focus of the card so cut it with a nestie and mounted it onto some acetate cut with the same nestie so that it would stand up on it's own. I have used a white pearlescent card from The Hobby House for the base.

This gorgeous Sugar Nellie image is available at the Hobby House. I have coloured the image with copics and added some stickles to her wings, the trims on the santa hat and the star on the end of her wand (which I had to draw in afterwards on this occasion LOL).

I have added a selection of different snowflakes around the card, all cut with Spellbinders Create a Flake 1 dies. This one has an acetate and diamond dust base snowflake with another cut from the pearlescent card on top. The gold snowflake is from The Hobby House. These are great, they come in an unfinished gold metal and are great fun to customise. So far I've embossed them with silver and gold, as on this card and I've also painted them with distress ink for another project - they look super gorge like that!! Anyway, back to this card LOL the pearl centre is also from The Hobby House.

Here is another angle to show you some of the other snowflakes. The one behind her head is another acetate and diamond dust one topped with the smallest die cut and a pearl. The one behind her dress was cut over the top of one of the printed snowflakes on the film so that the shape follows the die cut, and I've added another of the embossed snowflakes and a pearl on top. Below her feet is one of the small embossed metal snowflakes.

I added a gorgeous satin edged ribbon from The Hobby House and more snowflakes. Notice each one is slightly different - just like real snowflakes LOL! I could go on all day about this card, sorry LOL - and I had to give it away for display LOL boohoo - I'll just have to make another for myself :).

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Have a great weekend! x
