Well, I managed to do some more decorating yesterday once I'd dosed myself up to fight the cold. Why oh why did I decide to cover dark red with an almost white paint? I had to do four coats!! Hopefully I'll be able to do the wallpapering today and then I only have one wall left to paint but I can't do that until my hubby moves the piano at the weekend (maybe I'll get him to paint the wall too while he's at it LOL).
I decided to use Simsalabim Tilda from the Fairy tale collection for my card. The papers are also by Magnolia and I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distressing too. I have talked hubby into getting my heavy old sewing machine back out too so that I could stitch the edges.
I have coloured the image with copics and added some stickles to the swirls around her wand. A while ago I spotted this gorgeous card by Kylie where she had coloured her image on a shimmery cardstock so decided to try it on some shimmer cardstock I had. It was a bit harder to colour on as the copics didn't blend quite so well but it looks so beautiful....
....you can see the shimmer of it better on this picture. I have added some Hero Arts pearls to the edge of the image too.
The large white flower I made from some Prima e-line flowers sprayed with glimmer mist and I added some stamens that I took off some flowers I didn't like. The other white flower is also a Prima e-line flower and the small roses are from my stash.
I also added a grosgrain ribbon and bow and the punched edges were cut with Tilda's Lace doo hickey die.
Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Simon Says Stamp's Challenge. Pop over to see the rest of my teamies creations! Thanks for looking! x

Ohh how sweet♥ Just gorgeous. Love the effect the cardstock gave to the image. Beautiful:)
Ps! I would love to know the combination of the brown copics you use to color dark hair, if it's not a secret:) Love the hair on her here and on the Lucia girl on the tag. Cute:)
