A Stempelglede project for Quixotic Paperie!

I'm so excited about today's post!!! You could have knocked me down with a feather when the lovely Elaine from Quixotic Paperie emailed to ask if I'd make some samples using Stempelglede's gorgeous stamps that she stocks! I absolutely love these gorgeous stamps and really should use them more. (I had to scour the earth for my first two sets as they weren't available in this country LOL). Thank goodness Elaine now sells them in her online store!! If you haven't already seen these gorgeous stamps you're in for a treat and there are two new sets that have just come in this week that are truly stunning. (I'll be showing you some cards with those soon too). There are a lot of pictures I'm afraid, I took lots to see which looked best and then couldn't decide so used them all LOL!

I wanted to make something really special and decided to use my favourite colour scheme and made a card with matching keepsake box. This is the box. I've used papers from MME La Paperie stack and all the stamps I've used a from the Stempelglede Grunge Flourish Hearts set. I've stamped around the edges with two different flourishes with distress embossing powder and stamped the grunge splatter stamp with walnut stain ink around the edge too.

In the centre I've stamped one of the heart stamps and cut out the central heart for a tantalizing peek at whats inside. I added lace, flowers and ribbons from my stash and the feather fell off one of my cushions! I sprayed the acetate with some glimmer mist for an old mirror kind of look.

A glimpse of the sides of the box. I have used the largest flourish stamp from the set here and added a border of gorgeous lace.

Lift the lid of the box and you will find.......

....a card nestled in golden tissue paper!

Here's a closer look at the card. It is more or less the same as the box lid except the heart stamp can be seen in full and has been stamped onto a panel of coordinating paper. I've stamped around the edges of the central panel with the splatter stamp and inked the centre of the heart after embossing.

Here they are together. A set that hopefully will be treasured by the recipient! I will be showing another card with this gorgeous set in the next few days too!

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Click here to go straight to the gorgeous Stempelglede selection at Quixotic Paperie! x

Holy smokes woman, this is a true treasure, and I am talking about the gifts you've crafted and not the stamps!! Well, maybe the stamps too, lol!! Now I can stop the world-wide hunt for companies that may or may not ship stempelglede to me, hip hip hooray!!!
