Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar DT - Spots and Dots meets CLP sketch

Time for another challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and this week we'd like to see spots and dots on your projects!! I have used the gorgeous sketch at Crafting Life's Pieces challenge for my card. The stunning papers are by October Afternoon from The Hobby House.
I have coloured the gorgeous hAnglar skateboarding boy with copics and for a change from my usual style of shading I created a soft sky behind him and some grass beneath his feet to match the grass die cut border.

I used a sizzix die to cut the star and stapled a Tim Holtz adage ticket to it.

I added a spotty ribbon from my stash along the bottom and some die cut grass using Whiff of Joy's grass die. This card was for my little boy to give to his friend and he thought the "real" grass was great bless him!

Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge. Thanks for looking! x

Darling card Jane!!! I LOVE this sweet image and the colors and papers go so nicely with him! You do boy cards fabulously! I always struggle with them! LOL As you can probably tell I am so out of my comfort zone working with stronger colors! hehe Good thing I have all girls!
Hope you have a fabulous week-end Jane!
