Whiff of Joy Inspirations Blog - Album card!

I have just popped a tutorial on the Whiff of Joy Inspirations blog showing you how to make one of these cute album cards. You can either use it as a special card with several images as I have done here or you could even put photos in it to give to someone as a gift. I have used the stunning new images from Whiff of Joy for mine and all the gorgeous papers are from the new Whiff of Joy paper pad designed by Katharina. I love this pad, there isn't a paper I don't like and that is very rare for me as there is usually a couple of papers I don't like in any pad I buy LOL!! The album starts out as a quarter circle and opens up to display four segments.

In the first segment there is Nora in her raincoat and hat - so cute! I have coloured her with copics and added glossy accents to her raincoat and hat. The Smile sentiment is by Hero Arts and I've added some Prima flowers and the heart banner die cut from Whiff of Joy along with some little butterflies from a MS punch.

Here's a close up showing how gorgeous and glossy her raincoat looks! I have put glossy accents on all the images' raincoats and wellies but the weather is so dull at the moment I can only get it to show up if I tilt the card up towards the window LOL!
In the next segment is Skater Ben. He is so gorgeous - such an adorable face!! I have coloured him with copics and paper pieced his T-shirt. I created a little tree with Whiff of Joy's leaves die and the grass is Whiff of Joy's grass die. The butterflies are a MS punch. The gorgeous circle tag is from the paper pad too.

Next we have the cuter than cute Nora with ducks and umbrella. Again she is coloured with copics and I have paper pieced her umbrella and wellies. I added glossy accents to her raincoat but it isn't showing up in the photo. These raincoats look so realistic in real life!! The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz set, stamped with weathered wood distress ink. I added lots of prima flowers and punched leaves to this one.

Lastly we have my favourite from this collection - Ben in the rain!! I absolutely adore this image!!! - see the cute frog on top of the umbrella!?!?! Again I paper pieced the umbrella and you can't see on the photo but his wellies and raincoat have glossy accents on them. The sentiment is another Tim Holtz sentiment. The brads are from Whiff of Joy and the buttons are from The Hobby House. I hope you like it and if you would like to know how to create an album card like this please visit my tutorial on the Whiff of Joy Inspirations blog here!

This is a top view of the album to give you an idea how it looks when opened up.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

I had seen the same album in the new Magnolia Ink magazine but didn't had time yet to figure out how to make it, this makes it soooo much easier, haha ; )

By the way the first two months of the calender are now on my blog and I placed a link to your blog.
Love to hear what you think and what March is going to look like on your calender... I need some inspiration, haha =P
