Wednesday already and time for another Simon Says Stamp challenge!! As always we are sponsored by the wonderful Heidi with a whopping $50 credit voucher for the Simon Says Stamp store!!
This week our challenge is a gorgeous sketch by Domi. The team are showcasing Penny Black stamps so if you have any we'd love to see them on your cards but it isn't a requirement to enter the challenge!
My card features several Penny Black stamps from the Garden Friends set as I just couldn't decide which one to use LOL! My papers are from Prima's Annalee paper pad - sooo in love with these papers! I've distressed them with walnut stain distress ink and also stitched them.
They remind me of Beatrix Potter drawings - don't you think?? With this in mind I wanted to colour them in soft colours to give a watercoloured effect - I love the result!
I added some lace from my stash and the spotty scalloped border under the lace is cut from the Prima papers.
All the flowers are by Prima. The large white daisy is a Prima e-line flower and the other two are Athena flowers - my faves!! The leaves were punched with a woodware punch.
Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Simon Says Stamp challenge! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x
