Simon Says Stamps Challenge DT - A Recipe

Woohoo!! Time for another Simon Says Stamp challenge and as always you can win a whopping $50 credit voucher for the Simon Says Stamp store courtesy of the lovely Heidi!!

Our challenge this week is a recipe - 3 types of embellishment, 2 papers and 1 image.

I have used gorgeous Magnolia papers for my card and I've sewn the edges. This is a commissioned baptism card so I couldn't resist using the adorable sleeping baby image from Magnolia - I love this baby image!

I've coloured it with copics and added stickles to the lace on is hat and pillow and wings. I have sewn around the edges of the image mat too and inked it lightly with faded jeans distress ink.

The letters were created with a Prima stamp and crystals set. I stamped and embossed them with white embossing powder and then emphasised the lettering further with a fine black pen. The button is from Basic Grey attached to a chiffon bow from my stash. The gorgeous nestie around the edge of the image is here in the Simon Says Stamp store. I've also used the Martha Stewart heart lace punch along the bottom edge.

I added a Magnolia doohickey swirl die cut and some flowers from my stash. The gorgeous aida calcutta daisies are by Prima.

I have decorated the inside with the same papers as the front. The bunny rattle stamp is from a hAnglar & sTanglar kit and I also created some text on the computer.
