I have made a congratulations card for my cousin's young daughters as my cousin has just had a new baby daughter!! I think it helps them to not feel left out of all the obvious attention doted on the new baby!! I have used Prima Annalee papers and have sewn the edges. I am entering my card into the
Friday Sketcher's challenge as I have used their gorgeous sketch!
I thought the gorgeous Mother and Child stamp by Norma Fickel was perfect for this card! - instead of them being Mother and Child, they are are the oldest and middle daughters :). I have coloured them with copics and added a touch of stickles to the stars and flowers on the dresses.
I created the sentiment myself on the computer and cut it out with a gorgeous
Tickled Pink sentiment die. The gorgeous hydrangea flower and small flower were gifts and the chiffon flower is from The Hobby House. I added some twigs punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
The blossom is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the button is from my stash. The twine is
Whiff of Joy's new button twine!
